Whether Dr. Jennifer Schulte was faculty of Stanford or not is irrelevant. She was still a graduate from there. She still possesses a doctorate degree. She’s still highly-educated and she still endangered a black family with her racist 911 call.

@delidragon64 @Stanford My apologies! I'm sure there are! I wasn't trying to be pejorative, it's just a common stereotype that people hold in thinking only certain groups can be racist.

I clearly meant it was irrelevant to my original point about “education” and racism. Not that it was irrelevant that it was wrong info. I apologize to Stanford for my mistake and flooding them w/ notifications (and will not tag them again for these reasons). Can we move on now?

To quote Will Smith, “Racism isn’t getting worse, it’s getting filmed.” These incidents are nothing new, it’s simply that people can’t expect not to be held accountable for their actions anymore.

When youth are racist: They’re just kids! Give them a break. When elders are racist: What do you expect? They’re from a different generation. When adults are racist: You just need to try harder to educate them. At what point do people have to take responsibility lol

Educated, “successful” people aren’t precluded from being racist just like educated, successful POC aren’t immune from being targets of racism.
